Am I the only one suspicious of the painted sole and the wear around the top part of this "New" shoe?

They're definitely not new, and they're probably purchased from Nordstrom or the Rack. Once or twice a year they'll sell refurbished customer returns at steep discounts and they'll almost always have the soles cleaned up like that.

Vintage AE York zippered ankle boots 10.5EEE. Could be a resole but seller claims they are new??

Ian at Shop the Finest listed a ton of shoes on ebay. Borrelli, Sutor, Santoni, St. Crispin. Those St. Crispin suede chukka boots are pretty cool.

Nice C&J suede bals. Is this the Belgravia? If it is, then a nice price for a Handgrade shoe.

He doesn't know or understand UK sizing.

I asked about a pair of Lobbs he listed as 10.5E and wide.

Is this UK sizing? If so, this is the same as a US 11.5D?

His answer was:

Hello,
I can honestly say that I don't know. I can only provide the size information on the box and the shoes. Thanks so much for your interest.

Those were all his personal shoes so the sizing should be the same down the board.

Do any handgrade have open stitching on the sole? That seems like an awful lot for benchgrade C&J from ebay.
