I am thinking about these. The seller will do BIN for $60.00 is this a good deal or just ok?
I need to measure my feet first.....
I'd say $60 is a terrific deal if you need (or want) a pair of black full-brogue bluchers. These look as though they are mid-level SMs and may be Blake-stitched, rather than welted--not that that's necessarily a bad thing. (The interior label is identical to that on a pair of my Blake-constructed SMs.) Very nice shoes that probably retailed for something in the $400-$500 range, and they appear to be in very good condition. The measurements given look about right for a US Size 9, but check this out carefully. You might inquire about the seller's return policy in case fit is poor.

+1, if they were my size, they'd be gone by now

This seller has a ton of kool stuff. I dont think much will fit me. Check out his Bally scribe boots!

These are some very nice Church's shoes, with trees for BIN.

strange how the Bally Scribe outsole looks exactly like my glued $25 Ballys, seriously

These look like Crockett & Jones to me. Tobacco suede captoes in 10D $99 BIN.

look like 2 rows of nails though. and the punchwork is a little unusual, don't remember seeing that on CJs. maybe alfred sargent?

also this is that weird era of polo sizing, where I couldn't even squeeze my feet into a size 9.5 I bought once from the same era, which is my normal size.

Any chance that these will look brilliant and new with nothing more than a shine? My untrained eye tells me they may be worth the risk if the price stays under $50. Anyone with a more expert thought?

Also hard to tell how badly the sole is worn, but I think they've got some life in them yet - ?

If you actually like the style, they are fine. But it is horribly dated to my eye. Something which was trendy in 1982 and then died quickly. I see plenty of shoes like this made by Ferragamo or Bally at the thrift shops for $9.99
