Were those Vintage-model shoes? What was the regular retail price for the Vintage models?

Yes, the same Vintage 2004 in Chestnut as listed. Retail was $1,330 marked down 60%. Luckily they had my size.

I seem to recall that the Lobb Vintage models have sold for something on the order of $1500-$1600 retail.

I think retail at BG for those was 1250-1300 and marked down to $695 at one point. If you like them, $500 is not unreasonable given the reatively strong ebay market for Lobbs but I doubt his reserve is that low if his BIN price is $1200. Just wait for the next Lobb sale and get something similar new for $600-700.

Shoe, didn't you already get one for yourself at the last JL sale?

Well, no one knows the reserve; we're all guessing. It's an empirical question that can be answered by bidding. My advice to anyone who likes these shoes would be to follow the bidding to see if and when the reserve has been met, and if still interested, throw in a last-minute snipe at your best price. No sense in making assumptions that could be wrong.

NOT from the same seller as the card holders, but here is a nice purple leather RJ agenda handmade in England -- I believe nowadays most RJ leathergoods apart from shoes are made in Italy, but this is deadstock from the days when everything sold at Richard James at least had the tag "Made in England".

The leather is a thick wavy-patterned purple. Not cheap, but a pretty eye-catching agenda.

Didn't see that in the listing. You must have e-mailed the seller to get this. I don't think s/he will get that (but who knows?!), so I think we should stayed tuned for the next auction with these shoes. I think that they're lovely shoes and wouldn't be surprised to see them go for far less than $700 at some point.

The Lobb seller should send those to Vman; much better chance of getting $700+ that way.

Alright, anyone here with size 15 feet? If so, there are a practically new pair of AE Shell Cordovan shoes with your name on them.

Looks like a good candidate for a Stroller jacket. Anyone looking to build a stroller should consider this. May be a bit on the light side for a stroller but I think thats the flash. Needs new buttons too but thats cheap enough.

Are these men's shoes? If so, I thought stuff like this in those old advertisements were all gone by now.

Question: Are the sizes on the soles of Tramezzas UK or US sizing ?
