I think those were a Ronco product, they double as a collander.

That's a good price (current bid) for the prized, semi-iconic, Weston "Demi-Chasse" shoe (the iconic Weston is the Hunt Derby); they're $725 at regular price at Sky Valet and higher than that, I believe, in the NYC Weston store. This is a great shoe, but be very careful about size, as many forumers have had size problems with Weston shoes. If interested, get as many measurements as possible from the seller, and definitely inquire about her return policy. I'd be very leery if there is no return allowed.

Kellyb has the EG Harrow Wildsmith loafer up again.

These are excellent shoes. Mind you, they are unlined, so they are extremely light and you may wish to go a 1/2 size extra down on sizing, or wear thicker socks -- as did the person who first ordered the style, King George VI.

And, in the weird but interesting dept, a Gieves & Hawkes leather and silver menu cover.

Worn very little, I'd say, from the picture of the the soles--maybe 5-6 times--and one has to assume that the reserve is much lower than that. What would you say, Ed, if you could get them for $500 (JLobb lasted shoes trees are included)? Worth a try? I seem to recall that the Lobb Vintage models have sold for something on the order of $1500-$1600 retail.

Well, I got mine new from JL NYC for $550 at the last sale. I bet his reserve is in the $750+ range.
