Cool Shoes, Paraphernalia & Desiderata - Page 40

Ben Silver Weymouths. Price seems high--with an opening bid of $350--for used, although seller claims worn only 3 times. They are marked 9D (US). What do you suppose the corresponding C&J sizing would be: 8.5E or 8E?

The soles on those Polo boots look incredibly thick. Are they triple soled? They are indeed thicker than a typical double sole, right?

My Darltons were very stiff for a few weeks, but they loosened up well. It looks as if these are on the same last, but with an even thicker sole.

Interesting... not in my top 5 favorites, but interesting nonetheless

If the soles were trimmed closer to the upper, I might be able to like these shoes. But I guess this is supposed to be part of the charm.

I like these -- a great rakish summer shoe. Not for everyone and takes a bit of attitude, but great shoe in my book.

They are pretty thick, I think you are right about them being triple soled but I need to check that again.

I'm selling a similar though used pair of Bettanin & Venturi Handmade for Barneys for my boss as well as a pair of used Berluti loafers and some used Gucci boots. He watched me sell records on eBay for years and bullied me into selling his shoes: click here!

The Gucci boots are certainly unique.
