Glad these aren't my size. Interesting that people will pay $500+ for PL without the trees from GVH, yet these haven't sold. Is eBay just dead right now?

I don't know for sure that the Cleverley RTW are better in quality than C&J Handgrades, but it has been suggested by others here or on the London Lounge, I believe, that Cleverley may have a slightly higher standard of quality for the shoes they have C&J make for them in their RTW line than would normally be true for the Handgrades. We know that Cleverley, in many cases, produce the designs for C&J to make up, and, given their distinguished history particularly with respect to bespoke, it seems very unlikely that the C&J-made Cleverley RTWs would be of lower quality than that of C&J Handgrades. Hence the opinion "C&J Handgrade quality or better." I suppose this could be wrong, but I doubt it!

You know, they might even be my size, but the scotch grain isn't doing it for me. At that price, they look too much like ordinary cap-toe bluchers for me.

I bought some cheaney's from ebay. The seller said:

The shoes are actually marked:
Last 44/D Size 13

Looking at the inside measurement of 12 inches, I'm thinking this will never fit a size 13. In fact, I took my 11D AE drydens measure exactly the same on the inside.

So why are they marked 13?
