Cool Shoes, Paraphernalia & Desiderata - Page 370

These might have been posted earlier; I don't recall, but I got a little more information from the seller. She tells me that the inside length (along the insole) is 11 3/8". Thus, I would think that they should be regarded as a US 9, rather than 8 1/2 as in the listing. Diorshoe could probably nail this down for us. In any case, they're lovely new shoes for what looks to be a very good price (at the moment, anyway, with 9 hours to go). I wish they were a half size larger, as I doubt that I could stuff my size 9 1/2 foot into them.

Not exactly inexpensive, but, lord, you have to love the Lobb chestnut museum calf! Shoe trees included.

Semi-brogues - 8.5D; my German is not good, but I think it says that shoe trees are included (confirmation needed on that):

And these three, all from the same seller, and all 9.5D.

Slip-ons - look hardly worn:

More slip-ons - hardly worn and with trees. If interested, check into the odd crease on the toes:

Plain-toe, two-eyelet V-throat bluchers:

Barely worn. Acorn with what? Heavy linen?

Yes, he says that the shoes will come with bags and trees.
He also states that there are no stains, dull marks etc. on the leather.

Pictures never seem to do chesnut museum calf justice. It is in absolutely beautiful color IRL.

that actually looks like plum museum to me. chestnut is a redder tone

The photo from the side looks like chesnut, but the overhead shot does not.

The black shoe is shown as pebbled leather and the brown shoe appears to be smooth leather. I received the brown shoes today and they are smooth leather.

Roger those bairds if they are labeled 8.5 on the shoes, they are fit a true 9 D american size foot.

if you are a full 9.5 D you can probably still wear them but will be a tight/snug fit.

...hmm, i just checked the auction. they are a marked 8 which means you have to be a 8.5 . 9 may work too but will be quite snug.
