Cool green Lobb deck shoes 8.5, look new, 165 BIN: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ADME:B:SS:US:1

I'd consider buying them to flip, but I don't want to deal with it. And they're gone in 5... 4... 3...

Ya'll are lucky J posted those here before I found them on ebay Somebody is going to get a great deal.

Not necessarily. "J.Lobb priceless loafers" is a much easier sell.

Both come with Lobb trees.

Maybe you could make a deal for both.

Inbetween (I've lost shoe size with weight loss). I emailed Greg (super fast response, even late at night) and he said that these in particular were sized UK 8.5E and not US... since I fit quite a few US 9s I'm fairly sure these will work.

Let me know how they work out. I'm more on the 10 side of 9.5 so I'm pretty sure they won't fit me.

bringing this to a close, I received the shoes today and here are my thoughts:
- wow! They are beautiful.
- As someone said, with my AE dryden in one hand and the santoni in the other, there is an obvious difference in quality.
- They are indeed goodyear welted

Thanks to all for the help...much appreciated.

Given the link that was posted to the bishop model:

I felt comfortable that these were welted and at the price, it seemed like a good deal. Has there been varying construction within a model (ie. some bishops are welted, some are not)?

To be honest, I would have liked the shoe in brown and of course, I'm not sure how the it will fit. My thought was that there was enough interest in the shoe that once I received it, I could always put it back on ebay and get close to what i paid.

those are the 'baird' . non serrated goodyear classic models with fam insole. still that price is really low and good.

I have a pair of Bairds from Ben Silver. I find that I wear them most often.
