Alan McFee GRENTON Black Wingtips Size 8.5 AA 8 1/2 AA http://cgi.ebay.com/Alan-McFee-GRENT...QQcmdZViewItem Should be Alan McAfee He says they are as new. Looks like they've been worn maybe once. Shoes are listed in the US size 8 Category, but according to the seller, they are 8 1/2AA. may even be a US 9AA. Best to ask. Bidding starts at $0.01, 6 days left. brand is no longer made, and was bought by Church's. apparently became high end Church's line. Refer to this thread for a little more info This could end up being a bargain if it's your size.

Come to think of it I am probably off the hook as I am between a 10.5 and an 11.

I've decided to keep them - they're too hot to let them go...
I'm sure my right foot can get used to a little squeezing a couple times a month...

I knew you'd come around G! Suede is so supple, they'll be perfect in no time.

I have found lately that shoes can really stretch too. What was painfully tight the first wearing can really loosen up. Hope they work out for you, G!

Thanks guys - I wore them in the office all afternoon (I brought them in, thinking that I would probably ship them somewhere...) and they felt great after an hour or so.

Then I got home and my wife said "they're cute but it's not the right season for these - you should keep them for the fall"

I don't think I can wait that long

I remember some discussion on this shoemaker... Alan Macafee wingtips, 10.5 US eBay # 7767262638 P.s. what are people's thoughts on these? Addendum: Could not help myself, I nabbed the boots. I assume those are C&J, seeing as they are RL suppossedly made in England. We shall see, I needed some versatile dressy/interesting boots. If nothing else, Grapevinehill has a great returns policy.

Great boots. Sure would not want to be on the receiving end of those bad boys though.

I wouldn't wear them with shorts. Otherwise, though, I think they look pretty stellar.

I just nabbed my first pair of C&J from GVH today...I'm somewhat euphoric

I would be too much of a wuss to test those out I think though in that way
