i was thinking about it, but i'm pretty sure they wouldn't fit, and don't want the trouble of reselling them.

Thanks.

I'm a pretty solid 8.5 so they should fit me, assuming I happen to win the auction and they fit true-to-size...I'm fairly certain there are plenty of other people out there with snipers set to this auction, but maybe I'll score 'em for cheap.

If I win and they don't fit true-to-size, I'll shoot you a PM--maybe they'll fit you

sounds good. good luck. you might just get em for a great price. it's not the best time of the year to sell boots, and it's Mother's Day. the diehards have probably got their sniper SW set up, but a lot of the casual ebayer's look to be missing this one.

Anyone here get these Santoni FAM? I have to admit to being selfish on these as the seller had 2 different FAM, three pairs each in sizes from 7.5-9.5 and I didn't post the link as I did not want anyone to outbid me on the one pair of 9.5 that he was selling. I put in a snipe at 216 euro. The other pair was a beautiful brown antiqued shoe which looked like the C&J Cleveland. I think they all went between $250-350.

That's a weird coincidence, but my eBay ID is nerdykarim and my snipe was only 46.88, so it didn't fire (I wasn't that interested in that pair of shoes).

I sort of wonder who nrk is, though...maybe I have an eBay fan?

C&J Handgrades in US size 12 Medium. Someone should grab them. I own a pair and they're very nice shoes: http://cgi.ebay.com/POLO-RALPH-LAURE...QQcmdZViewItem Another pair of US 11.5. Be forewarned that I went down 1/2 size from my usual US size because the 337 last is elongated. http://cgi.ebay.com/New-POLO-RALPH-L...QQcmdZViewItem

Are you sure those are C&J? I was looking at them in my size, but they say made in Italy. What model is that?

They are the Altons and are definitely made in the UK by C&J.

Something in the listing is wrong, so I suggest you email the seller a question. If they are the Alton model, then the "made in Italy" description is wrong, and they will be stamped on the insole "made in England". I emailed C&J about them after I bought mine and was told they are Handgrade on the 337 last. Incidentally, I had to go down 1/2 size from my normal US size on the 337 last. So I bought a US size 11.5 instead of my usual US size 12.
