VINTAGE 1930'S LORD MAYORS HAT by Ede & Ravenscroft

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=170114339995

Maybe not ideal for the business casual office.

If not the office, when would it be ideal?

He may have thought that breaking the BIN may have worked in his favor...I've done it a couple times. Once an auction gets posted to "Cool Shoes," though, breaking the BIN is usually a bad thing.

No. The AE resole does not have the tool marking around the sole stitching like new shoes have. Also, the inner shoe lining doesn't have very much discoloration, it appears they were not worn enough to warrant a resole.

While that's true, it looks like they may have been reheeled. I don't see any of the "V" mark on the heel and the wear is too smooth for it to have just worn away, IMO.

So not your size then?

Perhaps I'm wrong but the selling price is the retail price that I've seen in HK.
my size would be the Labeled 9.5. which he would interpret as 10.5 US.

well, here in the states, i do remember the nyc santoni sells these for over 2000 a while back

I'm a big fan of Santoni, but to be perfectly honest, those reverse stitichings on the toes, having seen them in person, really does not look good. The lack of definition makes them look like melted plastic.
