I was ambivalent about the toe shape at first, but now I love 'em. It did take a while for them to stretch out and become comfortable and I have a fairly narrow foot.

I bought a pair of shoes from him and was satisfied. The shoes took awhile to arrive because they got held up in customs, but he did respond to my e mails , and I think tried to do what he could from his end.

Item exactly as described and authentic. Prove otherwise or apologize, liar.

Seems a bit aggressive...

I don't know if these have been posted yet, but:

http://cgi.ebay.com/CARMINA-ALBALADE...QQcmdZViewItem

Or if the link is too long do a search for Carmina. These are Carmina cordovan leather monks looking to be in good shape.

Caveat: I wear a 9D in AE and Alden and an 8.5E in John Lobb last 8000 and an 8.5E in EG, but a 7.5E in Carmina Rain last in Cordovan. So although the seller calls these a 9 US, I would call them a 10US.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230129772352 I wish AE still made something like this; I'd buy a pair that had seen trees once in a while.

They are nice - I just take exception to this part of the description: "Look worn 1-2 times VERY lightly." They look like they were worn in 1-2 marathons, perhaps...

Very nice Santoni classic half brogues in brown for $200 (8.5). Wish they were my size.

grrrr, i won one of these (in black) about 4 or 5 years ago from ebay seller "allenedmonds", but it turned out they listed them at the wrong size or something (they cancelled the order and returned my paypal payment). i've always kicked myself for not being about to get them, as i like these better than chelsea or chukka boots.....

Just purchased my first pair of used shoes on ebay (not counting the women's ones I bought by mistake a couple of weeks ago ). Any comments on the general condition of these? They appear to be in good shape to my untrained eye.
