^Very sharp, but the sole treatment is odd.

Anyhow, I pointed the item out to one of the august members of this forum here, and he snapped them up with his buying account. Watch out for "˜Very Rare Lattanzi' in a cinema near you.
Next time, Bengal-stripe, old friend, how about pointing them out to all of us, so we don't have to pay the august member's markup!

Agreed. Very high prices for Church's on eBay. This seller may not be knowledgeable about pricing. I seem to recall that s/he changed the prices on the Santonis after there were a few bites.

Pardon my ignorance, but are all Asprey made by Lattanzi? If not, how does everyone seem to know these are? The listing indicates an RPP of 200 pounds which seems low for Lattanzi.

Thank all of you in advance for any education you can provide me.

Good news! I heard back from the seller:

"Item: Heinrich Dinkelacker London Cordovan/Pferdeleder Gr. 12 (300108887423)
This message was sent while the listing was active.
teamvectra is the seller.

If you pay PayPal, I would also ship to the US. But shipment would be 40,00 EUR as insured parcel instead of 6,90 EUR. And most likely, you would have to pay import tolls on the parcel."

Mea culpa - at least the august member will provide the members of this venerable forum, with some lovely photographs (he really is a most talented shoe photographer).

Lattanzi made a few styles for Asprey (only for one season, I believe). They can be recognized by the hand-written "˜Asprey' (just as the shoes he supplied for Jil Sander have the name hand-written).

These shoes might be samples. Asprey stocked the design with a leather sole in shell cordovan. I've never seen the rubber-soled version.
