Maybe it's the same guy who's bidding on this Canali:

Camel toe loafers!

http://cgi.ebay.com/400-Camel-Toe-Gu...QQcmdZViewItem

that can't be the correct term, can it? I always thought "camel toe" only referred to one thing: http://www.cameltoe.org

I think he means "split toe." The leather would have to be ... bulgier to be a camel toe.

Well, perhaps G & G could do a genuine Bespoke Camel Toe shoe!

I'm sure it would be interesting!

One of the more attractive uses of exotic skin I've seen.

These are the Darlton wingtips, available from polo.com for $695, as he states. But his calculation of the price plus tax is wrong ($695+ 8.5% tax = $754) with a little patience a new pair can be had for 30% off, or $486.50, and they are used. His opening price is reasonable, though, and they are nice shoes. I own a pair and like mine a lot. Anyone wishing to bid might like to know they're made on C&J's 325 last, which is a little roomy in the toebox for me. Doc, those really are nice specs--one of the few croc skin shoes (or spectators) I could wear.

Although it is a very unusual design, I rather like it. However, are those real croc skin or pressed calf? A bit hard to tell from the pics.

I'm so tired that every time I bid on something on eBay, I get an email like this:

"Dear Sir,
Please excuse me for this unexpected messege.I am the seller of the J.M.
WESTON SPLIT-TOE HAND MADE DRESS SHOES 11.5D
Item number: 220103040183
I' ve just been contacted by the eBay staff who informed me that the winner
of the item I sold ,withdrew his bidding and was rejected due to security
reasons(either failed to follow through on the purchase commitment or
outright refused to do so).The eBay policy automatically proclaims you to be
the winner by default. Nevertheless,I need your agreement on this so I may
contact eBay to confirm you the winning position, otherwise,I'll relist the
item.I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I need an answer asap. Your last
auctioned bid prior to being outbid is taken into consideration.
The price will be your last bid US$ 55.00!!!
GIVE ME AN URGENT REPLY IF YOU WANT TO GO AHEAD OR NOT!!!
Thank you !"

I don't know if they're from Romania, Nigeria or wherever, but I'm just tired of getting these... sadly, people fall for this kind of crap (they pay through Western Union). Does anybody else get this crap?
Yes, I've been getting a ton of them. Only on high end shoes, though. Forward them to ebay. Perhaps eventually they'll try to do something about it.

I get 2-3 of these daily, for items of types I've never bought or sold on ebay. My paypal account is always in danger of being suspended, as is my ebay account. Each day, I win lotteries I've never played, I'm approved for mortgages sufficient to pay the US national debt, and I'm offered enough Viagra/Cialis to boink half the world's population. I sincerely hope there's a special place in Hell reserved for spammers.

That's why I wish ebay would just move all auctions to the new private method.

New Broadstreet Spectators 12D from AE's ebay store: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Allen-Edmond...QQcmdZViewItem

They'll probably go quick unless some idiot bids on them instead of using the BIN option.

definitely worth the bin if you want them. in an auction, i wouldn't be surprised if they hit 200 to 225 or so.
