The Vass F last monks he's selling are sweet. Just noticed the Asprey Edward Green suede monks. Those are really sweet. They look like he never wore them out of the house.

Those monk shoes were a surprise to me, as the only monks on the F-last appearing in the Vass catalog are double monks. Is there an expanded catalog out there? Or is this, perhaps, a special-order model? Also, does anyone know whether the F-last models fit about the same as the U-last ones? The latter last was Vass's narrowest; is the F-last wider?

Paul Stuart, probably Grenson, lightly used, 7.5, at a very nice price of $45.00. http://cgi.ebay.com/Paul-Stuart-Leat...QQcmdZViewItem

F is in fact wider than U, I have to down half size from U. I posted a pictorial comparison of the 2 lasts in the shoe porn thread. Any U models can be had on the F last as well with the exception of the double monks which is not available on the U last.

Thanks, VR--very useful information. I'll check the shoe porn thread.

Ede & Ravenscroft shoes 8.5UK

These are made by Grenson, and retail at 250UKP. The buy-it-now is a bargain.
