Good price if they don't go too much higher. The double leather-sole version (#598) is currently on sale at Sky Valet for $725. Regular price at Weston store in NYC would be $1100-$1200, I believe. Is this seller ("Kitoncorner") one of us?

Wierd for sure, but they look like they were just tried on to me.

And I understand (from reading here on SF, I do not own any Church's shoes) that Church's are certainly not bad but are somewhat overpriced when compared to C&J, Grenson etc.

Here is this seller's Black Lobbs. Also "worn 3 times and resoled!". These are rubber sole! This seller must be very hard on his shoes

store returns? he's probably just trying to protect himself from buyer/bidder complaints that the shoe isn't new.

Either way, excellent prices for some shoes that appear to be in very very good shape.

Yeah, agreed. Nice shoes, very good prices.

I sort of doubt that both pairs have been resoled. Why not just be accurate, and sell the shoes on their value!

I'm surprised that no one on SF has bought either pair. But now there's a lingering doubt about them.

I wouldn't assume it's a deliberate inaccuracy. It's the sort of error that seems to be frequently made when sellers list multiple, similar items - part of the description for one gets carried over into the other. I put a bid in, but I'm reluctant to go to the BIN price until I get a response to a question regarding the resoling "issue". (If anyone's feeling more venturesome and wants to overbid, please don't hold back on my account.)
If I get any useful information from the seller, I'll let you guys know.

This one may have slipped under the radar:

These are pre-N&L St. James line, I'd guess, but perhaps Grenson Masterpieces nonetheless (as the current St. James line mostly are). Or were Poulsen, Skone made by someone else? In any case, they appear to be Grenson Masterpiece quality. The UK size 9 would, I think, be a US 9.5, and the EX width is a little wider than a standard UK E-width (but not quite an F-width, I assume). So, probably closest to a 9.5 D/E US.

I sure wish I could like pebble-grain leather.

Here's another than may have slipped under the radar because of a misspelling of "Crockett"!

http://cgi.ebay.com/CROCKET-JONES-sh...QQcmdZViewItem

This is probably the Shelton in a color not available in that shoe any longer. Storm-welted and with Dainite soles. UK 8, so about US 9. UK width E, so D-width in US sizing. Seller says very little use, but creases suggest perhaps a little more than that. Still, could be a helluva deal.
