(cross posted from the ebay suits thread)

Please do not comment on "distinguished_gentleman's" [sic] auctions. He continues to threaten me because people from here are messing with his auctions. Any comment to the effect of harrassment toward him will be deleted and the poster will face temporary ban.

Thanks, The Management

http://cgi.ebay.com/625-Santoni-Alfr...QQcmdZViewItem seem like a good deal. So do these Santonis in 12D. I was considering pulling the trigger but I have too many in this style. $100 shipped... http://cgi.ebay.com/SANTONI-EDMUND-L...QQcmdZViewItem

Size 13 Suede Chukka Boots

I believe these were made by Alfred Sargent for LE. Pretty good deal at the current price.

I hope so. this thread is quite painful to my wallet. fortunately, most of the forumites have smaller feet and don't point out unpassable deals

They're not Masterpieces though but Grenson Feathermasters. Not worth the price (or any price for that matter) imo.

Ohhh, right you are. I saw the Paul Stuart mention and didn't look closely. Had I clicked on the sole picture, I'd have known.

I do like the design, though.

Q: Hi, What is the corthay size? 12, 13...

A: The shoes are labeled 9.5 but I always wear 10.5 in Stefanobi for example, which is 44.5/45 in French sizing

Q: Just to clarify the sizing given it seems Corthay are sized small, I wear 44 and think I need a 12, can you confirm this? Did you buy 45 or wear smaller?

A: My usual size is 45 so I fear these will be too big for you. In addition, given it's calf leather, they will stretch so if you wear 44, I wouldn't recommend these.

I'm the quick-fingered sucker. How bad is the feathermaster line? If they are truly lousy, I can return them and just eat the shipping.
