Not my style, but elegant nonetheless. Seems like a good deal even at the BIN price.

btw - those are NOT shell cordovan, despite the combination heel. it looks like they've been resoled by a local cobbler. but still, not a bad start if you can do the used thing - i can't.

I noticed that too (a shot of the heel is among the key indicators for the condition of a used shoe, and for gauging how much would have to be invested to make them wearable). I dont mind used AEs at all, beause I can just disinfect the hell out of them and send them off for recrafting. And at $30, this shoe could make a for great antiquing experiment.

How is the fit of these Tramezzas? Is it comparable to a Santoni? Are Ferragamo shoes considered equal in quality to Santoni shoes?

if they are 13.5 x 4.5, it sounds more like a 11.5 to 12 to me.

Today the seller added this is a French 11D. Is that the same as a US 11.5D or maybe a 12D?

Adelaides anyone?

I'm guessing the 11E is the UK size, not US as is implied in the listing. This would make them something on the order of 11.5 or 12 D-width US.

Beautiful condition, thus might be a great deal. Don't know whether seller will sell to North America, but many who list just their own European country will do so. Also, check carefully the size. Described as 9E, but it seems that the French have a slightly different sizing than the British. The Euro size, 44, is probably the more accurate--indicating a 9.5UK or 10 or 10.5 US. However, check measurements with the seller if s/he will ship to NA.
