Andrew, I suggest you not to post any more good deals here or you are going to get "excoriated."

I'm interested in these. Two questions
1. Why do you say these are narrow?
2. Do you think this shoe is a 9.5 UK instaed of 9.5 US? - I am hoping you say "yes" to this question.

Yes, they are a U.S. size 10. I believe they are a U.S. size 10C, as UK D is equivalent to U.S. C width. Any concurence folks?

I don't think I'd characterize them as narrow. Many who have purchased EG shoes over the years have commented that their fitting letters correspond pretty close to our width letters, suggesting that a D fitting may be just slightly narrower than a US D, but only slightly if at all. This correspondence is not true for other UK cordwainers, where the one-letter-down conversion works well. As for size, they are definitely UK 9.5, not US 9.5, which would make them a fairly large US 10--probably somewhere between a 10 and 10.5, since the most accurate conversion adds approximately .75 to the UK size to produce the US equivalent.

Peal deadstock on the 240 last -- is that Crockett or Green? I've thought it was Crockett, but I know Green used a 540 last for Peal (or am I dyslexic?):

No they are a US D. The 202 is a US last and comes in US widths.

Rubinacci for Barneys. Any idea who makes these? For $49, might be worth the try.

I own a pair of shell cordovan saddle shoes made by Nettleton and can verify that my shoes are very comparable to the Aldens I own. I believe my Nettletons even have slightly better construction and leather.
