8.5/41.5 Sutor Mantellassi's at Yoox -- shoe experts can chime in if these are the top of the line. If these are the top of the line, fantastic price - $230 + free shipping.

$300 8/8.5/9.5

Keep in mind, these run large. I own a pair of Amedeo Testoni -- the size is 6UK and fit me just right (normally 7.5D US).

Great price, retail $1500?.

The seller says the Lobb UK 11D equals a US 11.5D. Is this Correct? I thought a UK E (not D) was equal to a US D? And Lobbs ran a whole size larger than US sizes (e.g UK 11 = US 12). Can some of you Lobb owners help with this?
Thanks,

$42 for shipping?? Kind of high? Are am I just cheap?

I'm a 9E UK in Lobb and typically a 10D US sizing. Hope that helps. Arg

If you like the shoes, don't worry about the shipping costs (although they are stupid in this auction), just ask yourself if the shoes are worth $460 shipped to you. Would you feel better if the price was $450 and shipping $10?

It looks like the quote of $42 shipping to the U.S. might be a mistake. He's located in California, yet he's willing to ship to Japan, insured, to arrive in three days, for only $37?

If anyone is interested in these shoes, perhaps they should email the seller and confirm the U.S. shipping price.

D is a UK Narrow width. So a UK 11D = US 11.5 B or C.

F fitting is the standard UK Width (I think...)

Aaargh! Nearly my size. Seller says 9D, I say 9B. Seller says they cost hundreds new, I say thousands. UK 8.5D Artioli Lizard ankle boots and I love the light Artioli construction, but even my 888 last EGs are 3 and 7/8ths wide at the ball of the foot. So someone grab these on BIN. http://cgi.ebay.com/Mens-ARTIOLI-Bro...ayphotohosting Perry

Well, these definitely are a steal but let's just say that they are an acquired taste

Note the seller and this statement: "Prices start at about $900 for ready-to-wear shoes, and probably go to infinity for custom-made pairs."
