Isn't there a "Koch" who posts here? Are they his boots?

Anyway, I these boots. Wish I could find a pair in a 12D.

yeah, they're mine.

i'm not really trying to sell them, but sort of trying to sell them. i just have too much stuff right now, need to thin things out so that i can fit everything back into my closet (which is a walk-in, but still full).

anyway, i'm been getting rid of stuff, but not doing a sale dump. whatever i can't sell becomes part of the rotation.

also, the shell cordovan isn't really as streaked as it looks in the pictures. i really should replace them, but whatever.

Clearly a motivated seller!

The imageshack picture hosting also tipped me off that it might be an SFer.

i just don't want to pay for ebay's extra hosting service. i'm just doing everything with minimal money upfront during the reduced listing specials and set fixed priced listings.

yeah, i'm not that motivated about selling. just want to thin things out, don't need to sell everything.

Hard to tell, but I'm leaning toward 'they are cordovan' based mostly on the look of the lace holes and broguing. Would need a closer shot or better a pic of the sole/insole markings to be sure.

Keep 'em -- they're handsome boots.

Vass (in my size also!) on Ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true

The slipper by Vass. It is really a penny loafer with a very RLPL Barksdale look in what the seller says is cognac. From the pictures I suspect it is antic cognac.

Size US 9D or Euro 42. Euro 42 is what I received when I ordered Vass in UK 8.5E sizing.

I suspect I will leave them alone as I recently got the Barksdales in Edwardian and 2 pair of penny loafer Sutors.

BTW, here is the image (which was not incl in the auction btw)

Well shoe trees are a must either way as those puppies need some streching out. What's the toe box like?

Man, I wish I could trade you my 11Ds for your pair. Mine are considerably more broken-in, though.

Awesome shoes. You'll be mackin' in Lobbs. Better buy a worthy pair of pants and socks.
