Ian's prices are competitive (and he's a reliable and trustworthy seller), but 690 Euros equates to about $920--not quite the $1475 quoted as retail for these shoes! Do they really go for this much in US stores?

Used A-E shell cordovan (she claims, and the creases seem to suggest), anyone?

And these (also shell cordovan):

Not sure I'd wear these but they are interesting

yup, they're all shell. notice that the first AE's, in addition to having the characteristic ripples, also have combination heels, which AE almost always reserves for shell cordovan shoes.

I concur that these AE's are shell cordovan and are real nice.

But would anyone say that shell cordovan is "Soft!". The seller has 100% Feedback with over 2500 FB's, so she's solid( and she's just hyping her listing). But I've always thought of Shell Cordovan as sort of solid and substantial as opposed to say, a "Soft" Italian calfskin loafer.

What do any of you shoe experts think of Shell Cordovan as soft?

To Boot NY Brown Suede bluchers 9.5 - are these really new? The soles look used to me.

Check out these Ferragamo double monks that appear to be Tramezza. They are in "excellent condition" and have "very little wear".

Fixer-uppers. It looks as if they last saw action in the snowy, heavily salted, streets of Chicago...
