My German is non-existant but through Alta Vista translation, it doesn't appear that this seller will ship to the US, too bad.

You're right, there are absolutely no indication about international shipping. However you could drop him an mail in english, as many germans speak and write english very well.

Same soles that I recently got on a pair of Dover's from EBay. Great steel toe plate and nail patterning.

Good to have a German Ebay shipping address, ain't it? Sure Tiger02 has one too. Andrew, what's happening? You did not get the Sandon either!

Sandon's went for too much given that I already have them in dark brown suede. Not to mention that I have dark oak Seymours and Chambords on the way. Put that on top of the 3 pair of Vass U last on order and the 6 pair of MTM Edward Greens coming and I'm basically running out of space.

Just for the record ... this is only my second ebay shoe purchase! I normally don't really believe in buying clothes or shoes on Ebay, but 205 quid for an Edward Green Malvern? I just couldn't resist.

And once more for the record: Lionel might as well be one of the nicest and most helpful members of SF. I owe him all the Burgol shoe polish I have (a lot) and had he not posted the link, I would have missed the bargain on the Malvern. Lionel, thanks for all your help and greetings to Switzerland!

I lost my Sandons too. Impatient Americans without access to the last, I would assume...

On a positive note: AP, I did get those boots! Can't wait.

Also, do you find the metal heel makes the shoe slippery?

Can't wait to see those boots after you shine them up Z, they are spectacular! And I have a feeling they'll be more Sandons on Ebay too.

The metal toe and heel do make for slick treading. I have them on a few pair of JM Westons and one apir of Vass and I won't wear them in foul weather. I remember RJ opining that his Westons were trying to kill him.
