Did you see who 'bought it now'?

Wouldn't it be "then" as opposed to "now?"

Nice - maybe his son will wait 40 years and try to sell them for 10k on eBay as riding boots.

These are cool shoes. I have the same exact pair, bought on ebay a few years ago for like $30. Does anybody know anything about them?? The sole detailing is totally consistent with Edward Green and I think that they are in fact Green's. However there is not any recognizeable info (last numbers etc) in the sizing 'oval'. I was wondering if anybody remembers these from back in the day, they seem to predate the Purple Label line which would put them in the early 90's. That's also consistent with the date on the reciept in the above auction.

Those shoes are pretty much ideal for a snuff suede casual shoe. I am furious that they will not fit me - not even in my wildest dreams. Arrrrggggh!

Even with inflation, EG's by RL were much cheaper back in the day...

What cost $535 in 1992 would cost $724.53 in 2005.

Migawd, check out the "interrupted" stitching on the apron of the more pointed monks! Have we come to such a low point that simulations of flaws are being held out as stylistic advances?

Those pointed monks are wrong on many levels. The others, though
