Nice looking Alden plaintoes 10.5 US with rubber sole for lousy weather.
These are on the Barrie last so the the size is closer to a US 11.

With some polish and trees, these would look stunning and could easily fetch $200. Could be an awesome deal for an 11.5D.

Probably just a bad photo of shoes not properly polished, but the leather on those looks kind of crappy to my eye.

Unless it's been damaged in some way, I think the leather is just dried up and needs a good moisturizing and polish. The leather on those shoes was definitely not crappy when they made them.

They're actually my size, so it could be a bit of double-secret reverse psychology on my part . . .

Yes but a polishing, some shoe trees and some nice pics and a better description (Mantellassi or Ferragamo made etc) would get one around $150-175. A brother's got to eat Doubt that it is going to happen now (thanks EL ). On a serious note, these run on the large side and an 11.5D is really a 12D and probably more like a 12.5D, although the measurements do seem kind of small for a 12.5.

Actually I was just looking to buy them to flip, if they stayed in this price range, but I'm not going to get in the way of serious bidders.

You're joking but that actually wouldn't be a bad idea. Pool some money together, throw everything on ebay and then split the proceeds. Of course there is the matter of storing 300 pairs of shoes. Lets ask aportnoy how he does it.
