Interesting shoes. Marked a size 6 but may be bigger given (meaningless) outsole measurements.

The seller says size EU 40; that's more like a US 7.

Hi Ed, Yeah, I'm sure! The "Priceless" ones that you are thinking about, don't close for another 6 hours or so! Here they are:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...5603&rd=1&rd=1

Here's the other "Priceless" one that just closed:

What a coincidence! They are both 1920's high lace-up boots! I think they are about equal in value, or perhaps the unworn boots are worth a little more!

Opinions, gentleman?

Man, I don't want anything to do with the Lobb auction in your link. That thing has just escalated to an absolute bonkers stage. The Q&A is priceless

Anyone that wants them and does not do a BIN is crazy!

I don't want to cause any more unwanted trouble with vote4tom but this answer he writes provides interesting insight into the method in his madness with the crazy lobb boots generating traffic for his other auctions.

BTW, if you're reading this vote4tom: blowing up the boots on video is a splendid idea!

The boots, over the time I have owned them, have brought a great deal of traffic to my other auctions, which is of value to me as a seller in and of itself. It is true that I cannot use the boots because of my diverse foot problems, but I also will not sell them for the sake of selling them. The truth is, in the end, I will likely give them away. A friend of mine at church saw me with them one Sunday and greatly admired them and inquired where one could get them and at what price. I explained to him what Bespoke Lobbs were and how it would cost him between $3K and $6K to get Bespoke boots made or under $1500 for RTW, but with his own foots problems and price limitations, those would not work. He has asked me why I do not occassionally wear them to church, as he truly admires them. Given all that has happened recently, given all the hatred from these Forum members, giving them away to someone like him makes sense. In the alternative, I am also considering having my son attach various explosive devices to them and blowing them into oblivion, on video, and then posting that for Forum members.

It is also interesting that he rants about the un-Americanism of the name Amerikajinda because of the misspelling of America. Actually, Amerikajinda is Japanese for "I am American!". Hard to find the lack of patriotism with the username.

Finally a pair of formal pumps I think I would actually wear. These could end up being a veritable steal for someone

Also, these new SF black loafers look nice and will likely also end up low but the seller won't allow non-US bids so have fun!
