Grenson Carson chukkas UK9F / US10D I'd get them myself if they were 8.5F/9.5D. Alas, alas, a half size too big.

Love the toe on those. Alas, I don't have the cash for them. Someone here must give those a good home.

Hey, right now they're only $20. Of course, I just fucked that up for whoever wins them.

The minor thump? Yes, actually, thanks - no troubles there. I had the stupid check engine light come on a few weeks ago but after a few visits to the mechanic they resolved that, just a solenoid in the fuel system that refused to behave itself. Was a preexisting issue though. Just decided to rein in my spending to clear out all credit cards basically. Edit: Plus I am very seriously considering a pair of kangaroo arse leather RM Williams jodphurs which will be a few hundred easily

Good deal. Yeah, I meant the "bump".
Purely as a matter of free association, I offer a more or less true story: my daugther's first clearly recognizable words were "credit card". Apparently the gods wanted me to have fair warning of what they in store for me . . .

Given her advanced grasp of passive resistance tactics and her general anarchist tendencies, I think somebody may already have done that.

And a good $35 cheaper then the EG Corbens from Polo that we all just returned. I know I should drop it but Polo is the type of company that would sell a blind man a rats asshole and tell him it was a wedding ring. Yeah...I co-opted Brautigan to trash Polo.
