I agree. Those JS/Lattanzi are butt ugly. Even for us who know their provenance can't get pass the ugly looks, imagine those who knows nothing about Lattanzi.

They look better to the Hussein Chalayan/Martin Margiela crowd.

Viktor & Rolf also had Lattanzi bespoke for their premiere Monsieur collection.

Not to go off on a tangent, but someone need to explain Martin Margiela to me. I "get" Viktor & Rolf, Mr. Margiela or rather his success, on the other hand is an enigma to me.

It's under the umbrella of "conceptual," which as PostModernism goes, anything goes.

The professionally cleaned and POLISHED part worries me, but, otherewise, nice C&J suede wingtips.

A little Kenneth Cole-ish to my eye. On the other hand, I don't think they're horrible (though not my style). If you can get a Lattanzi quality shoe for under $10.00, it might be worth it.

They're my size, but are too square toed for me, and the leather looks a little plastic. I doubt the seller gave them that mirror shine. They are brand new, however.

I'm going to try to get the boots and the oxfords, so we'll see.

Z...Beware our own AHarris. He will buy these, reidentify them correctly, and resell them on EBay for $600/pair.
