Ohhh, I'm surprised the bidder didn't take advantage of the BIN. $425 was about $170 below ebay value... They will almost certainly go higher than that now.

He got greedy and lost out. I wish they were my size. They're beautiful and I'm looking for exactly that style.

Correct. I am just hoping to get lucky. I just purchased the Chan Overcoat from Kolecho, so may not even be able to bid what I planned to.

I don't think its gonna happen. I would cancel/retract the bid and execute the buy it now.

Well you never know this pair that Aportnoy picked up http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEDW%3AIT&rd=1 went for $375

If someone would like to execute the BIN I would not mind retracting my bid since I don't think I am going to give it a serious go at these, due to recent purchases.

You never know. Some stuff has been seling cheap on ebay lately. There are two pairs of EG's that a guy has had up forever in the $500 or so range and can't move them. Plus this guy is only shipping to the US, so that knocks out the ravenous Japanese buyers. I say just put in the max that you are comfortable with and forget about the auction. There is no better feeling than winning a pair of shoes for less than you though they would go for
If you don't win, there will be others.

Those were a steal kali. The 89 last is ideal for the Newbury, the antiquing is some of the nicest I've seen and I just can't get enough Edwardian these days. Plus they cam with shoe trees and the original bags.

They will be featured (with other other additions) in an imminent shoe damage thread.

Oh yeah...count me out of the Atlee auction as I already have the shoe minus the brogue work. Good luck!

EBay is pretty cold right now. Picked up a pair of new AE bluchers in 9.5D the other day for $57.
