Zegna couture plain toe 3-eyelet bluchers (black). Look nice but hard to tell the maker w/out seeing the soles. Price is good at $200.

If it doesn't fit that is. I love Barbera jackets.

Really trying not to buy more shoes right now. And I've been wanting a pair of these (similar) for a really long time.

I received these today. The condition of the upper (lack of creasing) makes me think his "worn 3 times" claim is true, but the soles do look pretty worn:

This doesn't really bother me, but there are two things that i think could turn into problems; the crack in the bottom left photo, and the split in the bottom right photo. Should these be reason for concern ? Anything i can do to fix them ? The actual sole hasn't been worn down much at all.

Hmm, seller has a different definition of 'flawless' than I do. Looks like a return because a kicked curb caused the sole to separate.

It looks like they were worn on wet pavement perhaps. Just trim back the loose bit a little, and nail on a plastic or metal toe protector. They'll be good to go.

Sounds good.

Unless the buyer is desperate to send them back. I was watching the auction rather earnestly even though they're too big for me, I liked the shape.

I agree, Ed, it is a nice-looking shoe--not a wholecut like the Weymouth, but with much the same overall effect, and, it would seem, available in at least one different color than the dark brown and black that the Weymouth (except those from Ben Silver, I guess) is offered in these days.
They're on the 348:

- check out the C&J Paris website, lots of new stuff.

Note the double leather sole on the shoes on eBay - I'm not sure if this is standard.
