Selling for £240 each, he paid £150 each in the Swaine sale. I quite liked the look of the textured one, but the design was a bit too weird for me.

I was amazed when I opened the boxes today. The items were fantastic and extremely well packed. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ettinger actually makes their items in England.

It is a different shoe than the one he links to. Doesn't mean they are not Lobb's, but I'd proceed cautiously. Also it does not look like the nail pattern for Lobb's in this thread: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=24109 But I'm no expert.

Yup - looks a bit dodgy. It's not a nail pattern I'm familiar with. They look to be very well made. Might be worth asking for a shot of the inner.
