I can't say for certain that they're fake, but they appear to be quite old.

The fact that he has multiple negatives accusing him of selling fakes confirms that those Lobbs are most likely fake. Never seen fake Lobbs before.

Any intelligence on likely US size of these Grenson boots? I need an 8.5 US medium. Not sure if with this maker & style/last I should add a half or a whole size to the UK 8F. Seller does give sole measurement of 29.5 cm (11.6 in) but this is only the roughest gauge of size. Seller has not answered query, listing ends tomorrow, thus this post.

In my experience, the Masterpiece line runs narrow... 1/2 size up from the UK size.

at current price, you may as well take a flier out on the grensons. But my experience with grenson masterpiece on ebay uk is that it's difficult to get a great deal. I lost a similar pair to a japanese buyer a couple of years ago.

As far as i remember, the seller has been up for discussion a couple of times. And on other forums to. His shoes where then at least,1st. GEN JLP from the time C&J made them. That is pre purchasing the old EG site and setting up their own line. Bengal or RJ might wish to ad or subtract from my presumptions.

I was going to comment that they look like C&Js or AS made shoes.

What years would that cover? Anyone know for certain?
