In the past EG has made shoes for Nordstrom, Barneys Japan, Cole-Haan, Fortnum & Mason, Wildsmith, G&H, Fosters, Poulsen Skone, Polo, RLPL, Arnys, Asprey, Oxxford, Peal, Lloyd, Dormeuil, and G-d knows who else but most shoes with those labels that end up on ebay, with the possible exception of RLPL, aren't EG because suppliers change over time and often. Thus I would tihnk more diligence is necessary before stating categorically something is EG -- and yes, I learned my lesson stating those Kilgour boots were C&J. I've seen bespoke shoes that look like complete shitkickers, many of them aren't particularly sleek or anything. The shoes _could_ be EG, maybe the size wore off or the seller didn't look in the right place. Someone could ask the seller for inside pics if s/he really cared, but that's academic. What do you mean you've "seen them before"?
