Distinctive, you're selling shoes you advertise as EG for Paul Stuart, but you don't show the actual label/stamp inside the shoe. Do you have a picture of the inside of the shoe with the manufacturer's/seller's stamp?

Just to let you know - I'm pretty sure they aren't C&J. I had a few of these and I'm 99% sure they were made in Italy with glued soles etc. Kilgour do have a range of C&J shoes (handgrade) but I'm certain that they aren't part of that line up. That being said, I think the retail of those is around £280ish - they're nice boots so not a bad buy.

Thanks Stephen. I noticed you sold on ebay a similar pair a few months ago (or were the perforated ones?). How do they fit, I wear mostly 8.5UK, but by the measurements they seem to run pretty long (like CJ 348, but different shape).

It was really an impulse buy this morning, it took me 2 minutes to decide. I found afterwards two other similar pairs on ebay, one marked made in Spain. Aren't they blake stitched?

You're right - they are made in Spain. They seem to come up a little large (not too much though) - true to size enough - if a little roomy. They might be blake stitched - it was quite a while ago and I can't remember.... Stephen.

Shoot! I am so sorry...

No problem, I bought the boots anyway....I guess I was frustrated 'cause I ordered recently a black Kilgour one button blazer from matchesfashion.com and my order was cancelled because they could not locate it in the warehouse

[quote=RJman;2544935]Distinctive is selling what he purports to be Edward Green for Paul Stuart, but note that he doesn't show the actual insignia inside -- these don't look like Greens and I would not be surprised if they were Grensons -- YMMV: THESE really are EG: Wildsmiths on the 88 last: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT RJ- I appreciate your comments and expertise. I am, however, a bit offended as I would never purposely deceive buyers or list something without doing my due-diligence and research. These are a vintage shoe offered by Paul Stuart, made by Edward Green. They were bought as such and are listed as such. Also, the insole states "Edward Green for Paul Stuart"
