Nice, but do they show some toe cleavage?

These AE's look almost exactly like the C&J for PRL plaintoe Darlton/Marlow save for the eyelets. Too bad they do not make the Leeds on this last...

I think I need a 10.5C in these but will try the 10Ds since they exist....... At $250 they are a steal.

Gotta figure some SFers are in the hunt for this pair of Lobb St. James oxford plains (I waited to post til the last few minutes; didn't want to spoil anyone's well-heeled plans): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_1038wt_1167

Seems like ol' pakratdebbie is not altogether aware of the value of her estate sale booty ("custom made", yes, but $39.99 start price? "In Nordstrom, John Lobb shoes start at $1500"? Psst, deb, Nordstrom doesn't sell John Lobb bespoke). She'll be pleasantly surprised.

edit: actually $770 seems like a decent price for what appears to be a fairly pristine, basic pair of well-made shoes. Of course they were made for someone other than the winning bidder, so in the end, a bit of a gamble.
