I think this has been discussed before, but what do you guys think of the Tricker's Factory Shop on eBay? Looks to me like they have some great BIN deals and also some sweet snipe opportunities (like these shell boots). Nothing in my size (US 10.5), but I would strongly consider a pair of Ascot's or Piccadilly's if they had them ...

Retrickers are very good. I bought a pair of shoes from them, and the shoes were in my hands in three days (UK to Hong Kong!). As an aside, they undervalued the shoes for shipping, without me asking.

If you can find your correct size, the deals are nice. My UK10.5 are too small.
The service and quality is top notch, I got my shoes in 3 days (I live in indiana). They make the $1000+ shoes for Thom Browne. Now I will see how smooth the return goes?

Little wear on these EG captoe bals in brown, with a BIN of $249. Gieves buckshot brogues, ending v. soon. Paul Stuart crocodile bals for $300 BIN. Victorian tennis racket case. Nifty vintage attache, going cheap so far. Sterling-topped Brigg walking stick from 1914. Lewd mile-high club belt buckle from 1948.

It's a 41.5 which translates into an 8.5. Not sure why he wrote 9. Anyway, I took the risk and if they don't fit, I'll put them up on here. These aren't Stuart's Choice right? They're made in Italy and have a metal plaque on the sole - anyone know the maker?

I would venture to guess Martegani.
