Weird!! Just for reference, it is made by Caruso - not SA.

Note the seam at the waist -- like a frock coat. With that, the high button stance, the colors, the contrast collar, the flapped breast pocket ... I'm assuming it's meant to be a hunt coat/hunting frock, or inspired by one. Foxhunting gear.

Yep, I think so too. Equestrian-themed, at any rate. There were some similar navy ones a season or two ago. Actually kind of fun, but pretty unwearable I thought.

So these PL spectators have stains on the white suede and almost five days left in the auction, yet they're already up to $255. Who says the economy is hurting?

Gator violin case. Seller has two, and several other exotic skin items. Not sure what to make of it, so buyer beware. But neat to see.

A pair of discontinued, great-looking AE Brantley balmoral boots in a US10.5, being sold on eBay by a certain gentleman:

They're damned expensive, but they are great-looking boots.
In terms of styling, they beat the heck out of anything that AE currently offers - I have no idea why they discontinued the style.

This looks like a fraudulent auction. They're not New In Box, as alleged in the condition section of the item specifics. They're recrafted (you can tell by the mark on the sole, and what appears to be heavily sweat stained insoles and creases on the vamp), and the fine print admitting that. I'm surprised that somebody would try to pass that off as new by selecting "Condition: New: In Box" and then burying "Newly Refurbished , Better Than New!" in the fine print. (Okay, I'm not really surprised that this particular seller would do that).

Worth no more than $125 (the cost of recrafting), in my opinion. And even then, I wouldn't buy them. If they were worn out and then recrafted, they'll be too broken in for somebody else's foot. They're only worth $125-200 to the original owner.

To be fair, the seller discloses that the shoes have been recrafted in the narrative.
