Cool Shoes, Paraphernalia & Desiderata - Page 905

Looks like little wear to these Florsheim Imperial longwings in shell. 9D. $69.99 BIN. This seller has a bunch of new Lock hats made for Jay Kos, all for less than $100. Some Borsalinos too. Speaking of Jay Kos, here's a summery green grenadine. Old deadstock English-made semibrogues. Not sure how much life the leather has in it, but I like the contrast stitching. Seller says they're "size 10" ... This used Brooks boater is going for more than I'd have expected. Meanwhile, here's an interesting tall Panama. Ornate leather gladstone bag, with eagle design. Showing its age, but neat to see. Solid silver heraldic Gieves (pre Hawkes) menu holders, in original, if slightly beaten, box. To round out your tabletop, here's a sterling Asprey condiment set from 1934. Nifty leather satchel, low opening bid. Here's a rare smoking jacket based on Steed's in the abominable Avengers movie. J. Peterman made costume repros from the film, but they must have sold extremely poorly, because they never turn up these days.

Piperlime has the upgraded Weejun on sale for half price, $64, with free shipping.

This model is nicer than the current Weejun. But, to save myself some grief down the line, bear in mind it's a shoe that retails at $125. Don't expect Alden.

I did not buy them either.
Interesting though that the lifetime for a good deal on eBay is less than one hour.

The Trads over on AAAC must be going completely apeshit over this deal! To be honest, I might pick up as pair as well... Thanks Doc!

Great deal for some Aldens in 9.5 D. $59 BIN. A polish would make these real nice.

This is the only pair of shoes that have longer lasting soles than the old Florsheim Imperial's.
