This is awesome. This guy has tried to sell these about three times, most recently with a BIN of $199. Now he starts the auction at $129 and they're going for $335 with 8 hours to go. I love seeing stuff like this. Forum member?

eBay buyers are illogical. I saw a NWT RL Italy Sportcoat sell for $60 the other day in 38R. I was out of town and forgot to set my snipe.

Everyone send this seller a message about how these are not Shell Cordovan and not Darltons... They are made in Italy. Link He/She wouldn't respond to my message. For some reason I feel a moral obligation to ensure that other eBay buyers do not get screwed. It really peeves me when a seller knows nothing about the item they are selling.

OK, I did as you suggested. What chance do you think that he will correct it? Ebay is a great example of caveat emptor. PS: The seller responded to me with an Email. He said: "Yes its a leather." Thanks - shenandoah04 ( but he didn't change a thing!)

Don't know if it's a forum member, but some Ebay sellers use high prices as a strategy. I guess they figure one buyer might figure it's worth it if there is a ridiculously high price as opposed to a market price.

Here look at these Ferragamos, priced at about double what makes sense.

And check these prices for used men's clothes.

As to auction format sales on Ebay, I guess some sellers get lucky occasionally and get 2 buyers in a bidding war.
