I have a 10E Footmaster that I wear with thick socks and a Dr. Scholls innersole to reduce the space. So I'll say that the difference between a US size and Grenson size is a full size, using AE's non-park avenue lasts as the standard for US sizing.

I also find this is true. My feet are about a US 11.75D, my Grensons are UK size 11F, and they are slightly large, but really a decent fit. I'd say that Grenson's 11 is a US 12.

Note that Grenson's F width is slightly wider than a US D width and the shoes on auction are UK size 11 *D*, so they are very narrow. Until I saw the unusual width, I considered putting in a lowball bid to try and snag them cheaply (they are black, after all).

Given this, I think they're the "Kent" model from Grenson's new range of shoes (and so not Masterpieces, despite the closed channelled soles). Toe shape seems to be a bit more chiselled though, so I may be wrong, or may be a different last.

They were bought from sue060774, who is pretty familiar with Grensons. I'd be inclined to believe that they are maserpieces.

Fair enough. sue060774 doesn't just sell Masterpieces though, but the original auction does claim the shoes in question to be Masterpieces.

Just out of idle curiousity, can there be much doubt that "Sue060774" is Sue Redgrift of "Sausages234" fame?

Possibly, although note that sue060774 doesn't tend to set reserves on their auctions, unlike sausages234. And I'm pretty sure I've contacted sue060774 before about the availability of Grenson Masterpieces and it was a man who responded.

The seller of these shoes is lipodoctor. He is a good seller. He always seems to have really nice stuff. What's funny is that I Emailed him once and asked how he gets all this stuff. He's probably sold 300 items in the past year. Suits, coats, slacks, shirts, and shoes. He said he's a compulsive shopper!

His stuff is in different sizes too! I guess he shops compulsively to lose money. But I think his prices are very fair and his sales are opportunities for good buys. These C & J's are an example.

A boy named Sue? Oh never mind, as a Brit you wouldn't understand.

A man (Bill) quite often responds when you email Sausages.

That is Bill Redgrift, Susan's husband. She told me she is not 'allowed' to handle the Lobb or C&J. I guess she just sells the Trickers and Paul Smith.

Would you wear these with your pants tucked in?

Or would you wear them over the boot?
