My intelligence sources tell me that the classic-line N&L shoes are by C&J and made to their regular-grade standards (what we call "benchgrade"). Last summer N&L had a sale that ran for at least two months and included classic-line shoes. My recollection is that they were reduced to something on the order of 155 GBP, or about $272 US plus shipping.
Paul Stuart advertised butterfly loafers the last time I checked their website. I believe they're still made by Grenson, but I can't comment on their construction (Masterpiece quality or not) since I haven't seen them first-hand.
