Those are really nice-looking shoes. I wonder who made them for Zegna--possibly the product of the Zegna-Ferragamo partnership. One thing about them: the seller lists their size as 9 US. However, a length of 12.50" seems very long for a true 9, particularly with the close-cut soles, suggesting an inside length of about 12.0" at least--longer than most 9.5s or 10s. In addition, the outside width of 4" seems a little on the narrow side for them to be a true "D" width. Interested buyers should ask the seller for an insole length measurement at the least.

Unless the sale is over, NM was closing out that shoe.

This is probably correct. The Zegna Couture line of shoes is reportedly the child of the Zegna-Ferragamo marriage and the one example I've held in my hands looked very much like a Ferragamo Tramezza in styling and construction.

Only $5.

They would have gone well with the lovely button boots that our resident cordwainer posted for sale last time.

He won the previous auction at $395, and I don't think he will recover it. He should be using a higher start price. The auction that he won, had a start price of $350!

I'm setting up a snipe of $101, right now. I doubt I'll win(especially after this discussion), but stranger things have happened!

Hey, I'm watching these too. Are you bluffing with that $101? They are used after all...
