Do you think they were bad and now have to stand in the corner?

I watched the to the very end - poised to make a last-second swipe - but just couldn't pull the trigger. Someone got a really good deal though.

really nice, but the sizing has always been off on the Polo shell cordovan penny loafers. I would think about sizing down a half size from whatever size you got in the Polo shell cordo bluchers (i.e., Darlton/Marlow wingtip or plaintoe, i.e., if you wear an 11 in the wingtip, get a 10.5 in this loafer).

If they had used a pregnant specimen to achieve seamless construction, I'd be all over it.

I'm not big on tassled loafers, but I decided to take a flyer on these using the 30% cashback deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=310092964612

A pair of the lovely lacquered PL trees, size 11.5 U.S., opening bid only $19.99. Hanover shell cordovan longwings, L.B. Sheppards, in 12C/A for $73 BIN. Handsome gun case in well-patinated leather and brass -- seller says it's Victorian, and it's certainly old. And another, this one from Purdey. Label suggests it was made between 1826 and 1882. Quirky Grenson loafers, very light wear, in 9B for $50 BIN. New Brooks slippers in size 8 for $69.99 shipped. Weston loafers in tan, size 6.5, almost new, with an opening bid of $15. Malacca-handled umbrella, wooden shaft, from Valentino in Rome, for $75 shipped. I'm tempted by it, so save me from it.

Consider yourself saved. I've been looking for a decent umbrella and the $75 included priority shipping.
