Cool Shoes, Paraphernalia & Desiderata - Page 751

Hi, could anyone tell me if this is a genuine Tramezza? Bought this on an impulse and later realized the bottom imprint on the sole is different from the Tramezza seen everywhere. Thanks in advance for any advice.

they are genuine and the seller is a respected senior member here. Nothing to worry about.

I'd be wary--the seller is a known scoundrel.

Fantastic, almost-new Grenson Masterpiece semibrogues for PS with an opening bid of 99 cents. Size 8C but listed as 7.5. Funky vintage leather attache with antler-horn handle and more than its fair share of patina.

Those were mine...Tramezza's made more than a few years ago had this type of sole, they didn't add the medallion until recently.

RJ? Did he kick the bucket on his 120th birthday or is he just on a cruise?

I believe those are being sold by an entertainingly truculent member of this forum.

I have these exact shoes also in 8C, and I normally wear 7.5D US, 7E UK/EG, and 40.5 in Vass, if anyone you want a size reference on these.

These are quite delicately made and refined shoes...the soles and uppers are finished quite nicely.

If those were my size, I'd be all over them, and I'm not a used-shoes guy. Very, very handsome. Here's an unusual spectator blucher boot from Ron in size 9. Linen and leather one-off. $245 BIN. (Speaking of boots, I'm about to offer a Martegani captoe bal boot in brown in size 9, if anyone's interested.) In RJ's absence, I'll point out this Collins & Fairbanks beaver top hat. For LabelKing, perhaps: Vaguely disturbing chair made of too many horns, circa 1890. Does that give you the horn, baby?
