These might be a good deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/A-Testoni-Size-1...d=p3286.c0.m14

I'm guessing that these were worn less than 2 dozen times.

For someone in the 8 neighborhood:

Is this a good deal?

The covering on the channeled stitching seems to be intact on all of the visible parts of the sole. That is an indication that they haven't seen extremely heavy wear. The brass Tramezza medallion indicate its a newer model, as the older ones have Tramezza impressed on the waist. My bet is they would clean up very nicely. I'd definitely buy them at that price, if they were my size.

i think the general sentiment here is that the studio line is low quality. You might want to look at a pair of AE moras in suede. Can be had for around $130 new on ebay from time to time.

very tempting I'm between a US size 9 and 9.5 and usually wear medium width. Think these would fit?

I wear a D in AEs. I have never been able to make size D Tramezzas work for me and I've bought several pair in the attempt. I would think you'd have a tough time with a Tramezza B width.

You should do some searching on this forum. Here is a knowledgable post on the ferragamo levels: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...rragamo+studio

Great pair of NOS Vintage Nettleton Longwings, 12D and no reserve. Possibly Shells.

I feel the best way to handle this is what i did. A polite PM request, but no hard feelings either way.

Fair enough. (For what it's worth, it wasn't obvious to me who Johnny was referring to. The thread is so long, and I check it so sporadically, that the antecedents for various references are often unclear to me.

Those are nice! I recently won a pair of NOW Nettletons with a best offer of $80. They are incredibly nice shoes.
