tempted but:
- the listing states size 15 but the description says size 12 in at least two places.
- The listing states spectator but I don't see two colors.
- Are those new sole or replacements?
- hard to see the wear on the inside of the shoe...but the lettering looks fresh.

hmmm...i probably have under five minutes to decide...

Oh, I didn't even read the description. They happen to be my size, actually, and though the rubber patch on the sole turns me off, I think I'll bid for the minimum. Thank you for being more aware than me, it's unfortunate they were not the size as stated.

If the picture is to be believed, those look like a pair of standard corrected grain florsheims you can buy in any outlet for $70....

Edited b/c someone's bidding on this item and doesn't want anyone else to know about it. I'm reluctantly complying, but what's the feeling on this?

I'm easily charmed.

More creative advertising:

Here's what's billed as a solid brass, silk and leather pocket watch holder from the 1700s. I wouldn't know whether it is or isn't, but it's handsome.

Unusual canvas-topped Heschung split-toe boots in unfinished tan, listed as a Euro 10, U.S. 11.

the split toe boots are similar to some paraboots I saw on ebay
but they they have natural colour canvas and lovely light tan colour.

good things rarely come in my size :-/

Post it. I've seen over 95% of the links on here before they get posted and have more than half in my watch list, should we just end the thread?
Although I've never asked someone to take a link off for me, I've taken links off of here and people have offered to take links off for me. I don't think its a big deal.

Post the link or we'll end up deleting everything given the chance that at least one member is following a posted auction.
Deleting defeats the whole purpose of this popular thread.

+1 I've been outbid on several items after they've been posted here. If I don't bid enough, I don't deserve to win. Aside from that, many of us SELL on eBay. Do you want more, or fewer, knowledgeable bidders competing when its your item? You can't have it both ways.
