Interesting style from J&M. I'd be on them if they didn't look patent.

And from the vintage vault...

Brooks Brothers made in England, in need of loving but good looking.

Shapely Florsheim shoe trees.

A potential deal on genuine gator:

I hope no one's day is ruined by this post. Nice shoes. Terrible listing title. New "hand lasted" made in England Cole Haan. Cheaney?

I assume the 8E is really an 8.5 narrow US size?

Santoni "Elsworth".. are these worth the price? I like the look, not sure if these are the Bologna or Blake welt.

Definately shell, possibly brown (faded burgundy can masquerade as brown/cigar).

If those are mainline Santoni, I would guess 'yes'. But I would wait until someone with definitive knowledge (e.g., sho'nuff) weighs in before purchasing. I am really happy with the Santoni I have. The one's I have feel quite substantial - they are not light, delicate shoes.

Not a terrible price but not a steal. If you look closely you can see the stitching showing slightly on the sole from where it was ground down to 'erase' the wear on these returned shoes. The size sticker is then applied to the interior and they are sold, though I can't remember where this is....you see a lot of these Santoni's on Ebay that have such a legacy....I own 3 pairs myself. The typical price is $90-110.
