Hate it when sellers "trade up" in identifying their product -- there's a seller trying to sell a couple Polo monkstraps saying they're EGs. Not likely.

are these really that popular? I have heard the name RL Redding many times but that big leather patch on the heel looks weird.

Yes. I took mine to Patey's, in Dulwich. They put the confirmateur on your head and reshape the hat according to the impression.

Large hats are priceless. Even more so, as June approaches.
