peal is just a brand owned by BB. They don't make anything any more. I concur that they look like c&j.

They look like AS, as C&J uses a different shaped rubber part and nail pattern. Also they don't use closed channels on their benchgrade shoes as AS does sometimes.

Unless I am mistaken, the Peal's with the double row of nails are AS:

while those with the single row and single forward nail are C&J. And C&J does do sort of a psuedo-handgrade shoe with closed channels for private labels.
