I find that seller Mapvintage extremely annoying, and for no single reason in particular.

The way the shoes are often described as "SEXY" and shown being worn really weirds me out.

The committment to photographing the items in various locales adds to the effect.

+1 but they have some strange and different shoes, and a lott of decent pictures. There is usualy one pair that is interesting just as a reference. either for EXTREMELY-bad or good.

Agreed, I don't like the fact that he wears all of his shoes-I sell worn shoes but I don't want to give the impression that my stinky feet have been in every pair. Plus, his prices are way too optimistic.

I'd love some better pics of these:

And these are pretty cool

What do you guys think of these? I debated on the and probably just should have pulled the trigger.

Were they my size, they would be mine.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought. I have a habit of bookmarking things so that I can "decide later" with results such as this.

The first few seconds in I really liked them but then I looked at the picture with the toe medallion from the top.

Its large size is really out of proportion with the rest of the shoe. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I don't think it's that large, and the color is very nice. i wouldn't lose sleep, but I think the medallion is nice - a plus in my book, not a negative like its in yours.

I agree on the color being quite nice. As for the aesthetics, well, I suppose that is why there are so many differing shoe styles out there; different strokes for different folks.

These are my favorite pair of Martegani's (that I don't already own). I saw them IRL, since designprofessor was wearing them when we met, and they are sweeeet!!!

I could be wrong, but I believe those are South African made Crockett and Jones. I know that contradicts the listing, but I don't see any image of the shoe that supports it being English made, and they have that sort of air about them. (There are two AAAC articles talking about this offshoot of C&J for further details.)
